Guide
How to turn one spreadsheet into a dashboard and download just the parts you need as a PDF. Your file never leaves this browser.
1. Prepare the sheet
- Put column names in row 1 and data from row 2.
- Remove title rows, merged cells, and total rows so only the table remains.
- xlsx, xls, and csv are supported, up to 10 MB, 100,000 rows, and 100 columns.
- Dates like 2025-01-03, 2025.01.03, and 20250103 are recognized.
2. Upload
- Drop the file on the sheet on the start screen, or click Choose file.
- If the workbook has several sheets, switch with the dropdown next to the file name.
- First time? Click Try with sample data to explore a sales example.
- If something is wrong, a message at the top explains why and how to fix it.
3. Check column types
Each column gets a type automatically. Open Column types to check them and change any wrong guesses; the dashboard redraws right away.
- Columns named like price, quantity, stock, or sales are treated as key metrics and used first in trends.
- Number
- Values you sum or average (sales, quantity, price)
- Date
- The time axis for trend charts
- Category
- Groups such as region or product. Free text is a category by default
- Yes/No
- Two values like Y/N, shown as a rate
- Excluded
- Columns like idx, no, id, row numbers, or order IDs (detected automatically)
- Text
- Free text you want left out of analysis
4. Explore the dashboard
- Click a tab, or focus a tab and move with ←/→.
- Overview
- One-screen summary: key KPIs, key metric trend, metric comparison, top bars and frequencies, top-10 table
- KPIs & stats
- Every KPI card, descriptive statistics, category summary
- Charts
- The 8 highest-scoring charts
- By column
- Every chart each column supports
5. Change KPI statistics
Pick the statistic in the dropdown next to a KPI card title. Your choice applies across tabs.
- For sum, mean, and count, the card also shows change vs the previous period and a 12-period trend line.
- Number columns
- Sum, mean, median, min, max, std dev, count, missing
- Category columns
- Most common, unique values, missing
6. Read the charts
- Hover a chart to see exact values.
- Click Show table at the top right of a chart to see the same values as a table.
- Light line / dark line
- Actual value / moving average (trend)
- Grey "In progress" band
- A final period with partial data, left out of change calculations
- First period = 100
- Compares metrics with different units on one axis. 120 means 20% higher than at the start
- Other
- Everything outside the top items combined (grey bar)
7. Undo and saved settings
- After changing a column type or KPI statistic, use ↶ Undo and ↷ Redo.
- Your settings (column types, KPI statistics, PDF items) are saved on this device. Cell values are never stored.
- Upload a file with the same columns and your saved settings are reapplied. Click Undo in the notice if you don’t want them.
- To move settings to another device, use Export settings, then upload the same file there and use Import settings.
8. Download a PDF
- Click Download PDF at the top right.
- Tick the KPIs, charts, and tables to include. The first time, the current view is selected; after that, your last selection is kept.
- Click Create PDF to save it as A4 landscape.
- Tick a group name to select the whole group. Charts by column are in the collapsed list.
- A chart that appears in several views is included only once.
- PDFs always use the light theme and are images of the page, so text can’t be selected or searched.
9. Language, theme, and shortcuts
- Switch between 한국어/English and System/Light/Dark at the top right; your choice is remembered. Your data (column names, cell values) is never translated.
- Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z
- Undo / redo (Cmd on Mac)
- ← → Home End
- Move between tabs
- Esc
- Close an open dialog
- Tab
- First press: skip to content
10. Your files and privacy
Files are never sent to a server; analysis and PDF creation happen in this browser. Nothing from the file remains after you close the page. Only your language and theme choices and your settings are kept on this device, and you can delete them all from the Privacy Policy page.
